The Open Collective explores the potential of human achievement through mindful, expansive programming in a single, connected natural environment. Our inspiring surroundings and thoughtful classes, courses, seminars, and retreats provide an accessible and inclusive opportunity for introspection, reconnection and the exploration of today and tomorrow’s potential. We are born curious - our insatiable drive to learn, invent, explore, and discover deserves to have the same status as every other drive in our lives.

We believe a health-conscious, connected community has the potential to exponentially improve the human experience by enabling the full realization of both the individual and the whole. A sense of belonging resulting from an experience at The Open can be transformative and help illuminate a path towards the meaningful, unbound, open-minded existence many seek in their lives.

Upcoming Retreats

aug 2-4

Join us for this life-changing program that provides science-backed, specific tools and resources to help you move from coping to thriving. Imagine beginning your autumn activities feeling more alive, connected and creative!

SEPT 20-22

Join Lisa Messina for a weekend retreat that offers an opportunity to make an intentional shift as we prepare for the Autumnal Equinox. Set intentions that help to keep the light inside glowing bright as we prepare for the darker days to come.

SEPT 27-29

Join Jaimée Horn for an intimate September getaway. As the seasons shift, so do our personal rhythms. Synchronizing ourselves with nature can be as simple as letting it in. With Autumn, we welcome the harvest, and receive clarity from the wind’s cooler caress.

THE Work of Dreams
OCT 19 2019, 10am - 5pm
2800 Lloydtown-Aurora Rd.

The Open Collective presents a day of learning, discussing, being and changing with Eric Touchburn. Through the analysis of one of Robert Johnson’s favourite stories from his beloved India, The King and The Corpse, we will explore how myth and dream are interwoven within the fabric of global consciousness, what Carl Jung termed the “Collective Unconscious”. Together, we will explore how folktales and legends extend their wisdom across cultural boundaries into our personal dreams, helping us to better understand our own individual mythology/story.

$75, includes light lunch and refreshments
